North Shore Rescue, RCMP seek public help in finding Bowen Island woman

North Shore Rescue and Bowen Island RCMP are asking for the public’s help in locating missing person Shilanne Rose Stedmances.

The 23-year-old was last seen near the Eagle Cliff area on Bowen Island on November 4 at 8 pm on Bowen Island.

Shilanne is a Caucasian woman, 5’02’’, and weighs 110 pounds.

Police described her as a “high risk person who fled from family. Before leaving, she told her family that she loved them. She also left all her belongings behind including her cell phone, identification, wallet, handbag and bank card.

“If located, please assess mental health and confirm well-being and contact the Bowen Island RCMP,” police said.
