A North Vancouver brewery is expanding beyond its home base, with North Point Brewing set to open a second tasting room on Brewers Row in Port Moody.

In a social media post, the brewery announced it will take over the former Moody Ales space and transform it into a new tasting room designed to flow from the front of the building through to a second patio at the back. North Point Brewing also said that most of the large brewing tanks will be sold to open up the interior and create a more spacious layout.

The post noted that the new Port Moody location will feature a “cabin-chic” design inspired by long weekends on the Gulf Islands, with warm wood tones, cozy seating, couches, and a fireplace. Outside, plans include a second, dog-friendly patio on the south side of the building, designed for relaxed gatherings, casual games, and flexible seating, according to the post.

While the space will not operate as a traditional sports bar, the post noted that high-resolution projectors will be installed for special sporting moments and cultural events. Similar to its North Vancouver location, the Port Moody tasting room will also focus on community, supporting local artists, live music, creative collaborations, small events, fundraisers, and gatherings.

Renovations are expected to begin soon, with the brewery aiming to open the new Port Moody tasting room in summer 2026. The post added that further interior changes may still be made as plans progress, offering the public an early glimpse of what’s to come.
