North Van Community Players presents ‘Talking Heads’

Alan Bennett’s award-winning series of solo pieces is a classic of contemporary drama, universally hailed for its combination of razor-sharp wit and deeply felt humanity.

Miss Ruddock is “A Lady of Letters.” Her letters, unfortunately, are not social communications filled with harmless news, but letters of complaint and comment with comic and dire consequences.

In the second piece, “Miss Fozzard Finds Her Feet” – as well as a new podiatrist, Mr. Dunderdale. Their weekly appointments soon raise the tricky question of who is treating whom.

Production dates are September 9-10, September 14-17 (including a matinée on Saturday, September 17 @ 2 pm), September 21-24, 2022 (preview Thursday, September 8 – $10).

Doors open: 7:30 pm; curtain: 8:00 pm. Ticket prices: $22 ($20 seniors/youth 18 and under).
