North Vancouver RCMP have arrested a man following a series of window-breaking incidents that occurred early Thursday morning at the Park and Tilford business centre.
Just before 5:00 a.m. on December 4, 2025, police received a report of a man smashing windows at several businesses located at 333 Brooksbank Avenue. Multiple officers responded and located a suspect inside the complex. He was arrested without incident and taken into custody.
Preliminary investigation indicates the man allegedly used a modified hockey stick to break the front windows of approximately six businesses. No injuries were reported, and no items were taken. The suspect remains in custody and is facing a charge of mischief.
“The quick-thinking actions of our frontline officers stopped the suspect from potentially damaging further windows,” said Corporal Mansoor Sahak, Media Relations Officer with North Vancouver RCMP. “While a motive has not yet been determined, investigators believe mental health may have been a factor. We understand the impact on affected businesses and are working closely with them as the investigation continues.”
Police are asking anyone who witnessed the incident and has not yet spoken with investigators to call 604-985-1311 and quote file number 25-25392.
