North Van RCMP are investigating after two tow trucks and six other vehicles were set on fire in a suspect arson on Welch Street.
The trucks belonged to Mitchell’s Towing Company, and no one was injured in the arson, according to reports.
The incident happened on Thursday night.
“We’re investigating it as arson,” Sgt. Peter DeVries of North Vancouver RCMP told media.
“Finding out a motive would be part of the investigation that’s ongoing and active. And until we have more information and get further with the investigation, we won’t know what the motive if any was.”
The police have yet to make any arrest in this case.
