A pair of bindings was returned to North Vancouver RCMP detachment recently and police is sure someone’s day on the slopes will go a whole lot better if they get them back.
“Unfortunately, the owner left the bindings in a box on the roof of their car and forgot about them before they drove away. We all have our moments,” said Sgt. Peter DeVries of the North Vancouver RCMP.
DrVries said a witness saw the box fall off and stopped to pick them up, but were unable to find the driver of the vehicle.
“The owner was probably managing a handful of groceries, or a fussy child, or juggling a tray of coffees they had picked up for their coworkers. It happens,” said DeVries.
The owner will need to be able to explain where their bindings parted with their vehicle, on what day, and answer a couple other questions, said DeVries.
“It’s a fairly unique situation, so we’re pretty sure the person who lost them will be able to answer those questions.”
The owner of the bindings can contact the North Vancouver RCMP at 604-985-1311, quote file# 2020-26088, and ask for Constable Shadforth.
