North Van RCMP is appealing to the public for assistance finding a beloved six-year-old golden retriever named Amber, stolen at approximately 1:30 pm. The incident occurred in front of Shoppers Drug Mart on Lonsdale Ave.

She was stolen today at approx 1:30 PM in front of Shoppers Drug Mart on Lonsdale Ave/E 13th St, while the owner briefly went inside. The theft occurred as the owner momentarily stepped inside the store, leaving Amber unattended. Security footage captured the suspect, who was last seen on CCTV cameras walking away with the cherished dog in tow.
North Van RCMP urges anyone with information or sightings of Amber to come forward promptly. They can contact the authorities at 604-985-1311 and reference file number #24-2637.
