A routine traffic stop by North Vancouver RCMP yesterday uncovered multiple violations, resulting in both immediate driving prohibitions and the seizure of a prohibited weapon.
According to a social media update, officers pulled over a vehicle being driven by an individual with an expired learner’s licence.
Yesterday, our officers conducted a traffic stop on a vehicle driven by a person with an expired learner’s licence. During the interaction, they found open liquor inside the vehicle. During the stop, police discovered open liquor inside the vehicle. The driver subsequently failed a screening test and was issued a 90-day roadside prohibition. The situation escalated further when officers found a dagger inside the car. The weapon was seized, and the vehicle was impounded for 30 days.
