North Vancouver RCMP are asking for the public’s help to identify a suspect in a break-and-enter earlier this month.

Police say a homeowner reported a break-in at a house in the 200 block of Sandringham Crescent on October 12. CCTV footage shows a woman entering the home through an unlocked side garage door at about 6:10 a.m. and leaving with several items.
“Efforts to identify the suspect through traditional methods have been unsuccessful, and we are now appealing to the public,” said Cpl. Mansoor Sahak, media relations officer for the North Vancouver RCMP.
The suspect is described as a Caucasian woman, 40 to 50 years old, about 5’6″ to 5’10”. She was wearing a light baseball hat, a light-coloured hoodie with reflective writing on the front, dark pants, dark Converse-style shoes, and carrying both a backpack and a side bag.
RCMP are also reminding residents to lock all doors and windows — including garage and side-entry doors — keep valuables out of sight, use exterior lighting and motion sensors, and install or maintain security cameras and alarm systems. They also encourage people to follow the 9 p.m. Routine, which involves checking that homes and vehicles are secured and outdoor lights and alarms are activated.
Anyone with information or who recognizes the suspect is asked to call North Vancouver RCMP at 604-985-1311 and quote file 25-21611. If you spot the suspect, call 9-1-1. Anonymous tips can be provided through Crime Stoppers at 1-800-222-TIPS.
