Staff report
September 22, 2022 12:23pm

North Vancouver RCMP are seeking public assistance to locate missing person Shane Foote.

Shane Foote was reported missing on September 19, 2022, to Vancouver Police. North Vancouver RCMP located Shane Foote’s vehicle on the evening of September 20, 2022, unoccupied, parked near 4440 Marion Rd. in North Vancouver, near the entrance to the Rice Lake and Lynn Headwaters trail systems.

Due to Shane Foote’s pre-existing medical conditions, and the circumstances leading up to the time of his disappearance, police are very concerned for his wellbeing.

Shane Foote is described as 35 years old, Caucasian male, short brown hair, blue eyes, 6 feet, 200 pounds, athletic build, and unknown tattoo on one arm. Investigators are asking anyone using the trail systems in that area be on the lookout for him, and to report any sightings immediately to local police by calling 911.

Anyone who may have seen him since September 18 who has not already spoken to police, is asked to call North Vancouver RCMP non-emergency line at 604-985-1311 and quote file# 22-24021.
