North Vancouver resident Andrew Marlowe, who is also a new parent, is looking forward to contributing a nice chunk of change towards a home for his family after scoring a Guaranteed Prize of $100,000 from the March 25, 2023 Lotto 6/49 draw.
“This will for sure change my life,” he said of his win. “It sets us up as a new family to get where we want to go.”
The North Vancouver resident purchased the ticket from McNews on Lonsdale Avenue and was at home when he discovered the good news after checking it on BCLC’s Lotto! App.
“I was most excited to share the news with my partner. She told me to be quiet because the baby was sleeping and she thought I was joking,” he said with a chuckle. Marlowe has plans to celebrate his win over a fancy champagne dinner and said it feels “surreal” to win. Aside from a home, Marlowe looks forward to donating a portion of his prize to some local charities.
