North Vancouver ticket scores Lotto 6/49 win

Staff report
February 13, 2023 2:26pm

A Lotto 6/49 ticket sold in North Vancouver last weekend has won $72,300. A lucky winner matched five numbers to win the reward. The winning numbers are: 4 7 21 27 32 42.

The winning ticket is from the Saturday, February 11 draw. All lottery prize winners have 52 weeks from the draw date printed on their ticket to come forward to claim their prize.

The last big winner from North Vancouver was Kevin Capper, who won the $1 million from the October 14, 2022 Lotto Max draw. Capper purchased the winning ticket at the Save-On-Foods on Brooksbank Avenue in North Vancouver, and validated the ticket at the Real Canadian Superstore on Mount Seymour Parkway and then on the Lotto! App.

In September last year, a North Vancouver man, Christopher Ritter, scored a $1 million win in the September 2 Lotto Max draw. In 2022, B.C. lottery players have redeemed more than $45 million in winnings from the Extra and more than $113 million in winnings from Lotto 6/49.
