Main Street will be closed next week for girder installation overnight.
The work starts on April 21 and continues to April 23, from 9 pm to 5 am.
The installation is part of the Lower Lynn Improvement Project in North Vancouver.
A detour route has been created by the Ministry of Transportation.
According to the ministry, night work is only permissible for construction activities that are near the highway and that require lane closures or if they would cause significant traffic delays.
To minimize impacts on nearby residents, all other work will be completed during daytime hours.
The Lower Lynn improvements will address safety, queuing and delays and will help to improve travel times along Highway 1 and the Lower Lynn Interchanges says the Ministry.
