North Vancouver RCMP are investigating after a pedestrian was killed in a collision on Thursday night.
Police say officers were called at 7:26 p.m. on Jan. 15, 2026, to the 200 block of Esplanade West following a report of a motor vehicle crash. On arrival, officers confirmed the pedestrian had died.
Lane closures were expected to remain in place for several hours as investigators gathered evidence at the scene. Motorists were asked to avoid the area and use alternate routes.
RCMP said the investigation is still in its early stages and few details are available. The cause of the crash has not yet been determined.
