North Vancouver RCMP is seeking dash cam footage after a pedestrian was sent to hospital in serious condition after being struck by a truck on Highway 1 near the Mount Seymour Parkway exit.
The incident took place around 11:45 p.m. on Saturday. According to police, the woman was trying to cross the road when the driver hit her. She was taken to hospital in “serious” condition.
ICARS investigators have been deployed to the scene, and the driver is cooperating with the investigation.
“Police are appealing to motorists with dash cam footage who were in the area of Hwy 1 and Mt Seymour Parkway exit westbound between 11:30 pm and 12 am to contact them at 604-985-1311 and quote file 24-12230,” North Van RCMP said in a social media post.
