Burnaby RCMP is seeking public assistance in locating a dog stolen during a break and enter last week. The theft of dog occurred in the 5600-block of Patrick Street on Wednesday, December 21.

The dog, named “Bouncer”, was last seen in a heated, detached garage on Wednesday evening. Sometime between 6 pm and 8 pm, someone broke into the garage and took Bouncer, along with Bouncer’s blanket.

Bouncer is described as a black and white terrier, 10 years old, approximately 15 pounds, and was seen wearing a white collar. “Please call Burnaby RCMP if you have information that can assist police in locating Bouncer,” said Corporal Mike Kalanj with the Burnaby RCMP. “We would like nothing more than to reunite Bouncer with his family.”

Police are asking anyone with information on Bouncer’s whereabouts to please call Burnaby RCMP at 604-646-9999 and quote file number 2022-42661. If they wish to remain anonymous, they can call Crime Stoppers at 1-800-222-8477 (TIPS).
