Police search for high-risk missing North Vancouver man

North Vancouver RCMP are seeking public assistance to locate missing person Alireza Semeny.

Alireza Semeny is considered high risk due to medical conditions that make him particularly vulnerable when unaccompanied in public as he is unable to navigate independently. Semeny has vision loss, may appear confused and lost, and has difficulty communicating verbally.

Alireza Semeny is described as a 50-year-old male, Middle Eastern descent, brown eyes, short, curly, salt and pepper hair, and dark complexion. He is 5’10” tall, and weighs 170 pounds. He was wearing a button-up shirt, blue jeans, and a blue and black flip-flop sandals.

He was last seen on Friday, July 15, at 10 am at 888 Canyon Boulevard. Police and family are concerned for his wellbeing and are asking for public assistance in locating him. Anyone who sees Semeny is asked to call 911.
