Staff report
October 10, 2024 7:36am

Surrey RCMP is seeking help locating Scott Phillips, a 43-year-old man reported missing on September 29, 2024. Phillips was last seen on September 27, 2024, at a business in the Park and Tilford Mall area in North Vancouver. His family and police are concerned for his health and well-being.

Phillips is described as a Caucasian male, 6’1” tall, weighing 200 lbs, with short brown hair and brown eyes. He has multiple tattoos on his legs and arms, including a distinctive tattoo of the word “OKAY” on the fingers of his left hand. He was last seen wearing a black hoodie, black shorts, sneakers, and a dark hat.

He may be driving a black Kia Sorento with British Columbia license plate WB354A and is known to frequent the Cypress Mountain area.

“Scott is an experienced outdoor enthusiast known to camp in the backcountry,” said Sergeant Tammy Lobb. “We are asking the public to be on the lookout for Scott and his vehicle in the backcountry, on trails, or along forest service roads.”

Anyone with information on the whereabouts of Scott Phillips is urged to contact Surrey RCMP at 604-599-0502, quoting file number 2024-145836.
