The Independent Investigations Office of B.C. has been notified of an incident in North Vancouver.
RCMP reported that on February 05, 2020, at approximately 2:30 a.m., a male was released from University RCMP custody.
He was later discovered dead near Lions Gate Bridge.
RCMP subsequently the IIO, which has commenced an investigation to determine whether the death was related to the actions or in actions of the officers involved.
