The Independent Investigations Office (IIO) of BC is investigating an incident in Vancouver.
Information provided by the Vancouver Police Department indicates that on March 20, 2021 at approximately 8:40 p.m., an altercation occurred between police and a man outside the VPD jail located on East Cordova Street.
As the man may have sustained injuries during the interaction, Emergency Health Services were called, and he was taken to a local hospital for assessment.
