West Vancouver’s much-loved fall festival ‘PumpkinFest’, an annual event at the Community Centre, is back in full force after a two years of Covid restrictions.

This year’s event features:
– Pancake Breakfast
– Pumpkin Patch
– Pony Rides
– Petting Farm
– Live music from the West Van Youth Orchestra, and others
– Free drop-in swim, skate or gymnastics
– Face painting & temporary tattoos

A highlight of this year’s event is a 50/50 raffle, in which the winner will take half of the jackpot.. Tickets cost $20, or $50 for three.

The pancakes will be cooked by members of Ambleside Tiddlycove Lions Club, and served by the West Vancouver Fire Department.

Tickets for the pancake breakfasts, pumpkins and Bean Around the World coffee can be purchased in advance for a discounted price at the West Vancouver Community Centre. Tickets will also be available for purchase at the event.

PumpkinFest is the biggest annual fundraising event for Enhance West Van, a registered charity which helps fund programs and equipment at the West Vancouver Community Centre, Aquatic Centre and Ice Arena.

The community centre is operated under a partnership between the District of West Vancouver and Enhance West Van, previously known as the West Vancouver Community Centres Society.
