Potholes to be repaired in North Van tomorrow; expect delays

Staff report
January 6, 2021 6:02pm

Miller Capilano will be completing pothole repairs at various locations in North Vancouver.

The company’s crews will be out tomorrow, January 7, from 9 am to 3 pm.

According to Miller Capilano, crews will repair potholes at various locations between Mountain Highway and Cassiar Tunnel in both directions.

“Please expect delays. We appreciate your patience as crews work,” the company said.

Last week, several people complained of tires popping because of potholes on Mountain Highway. Miller Capilano reminds that residents should report hazards on the highway.

“As road conditions are always changing, we ask that the community report any hazards on the highways that could result in a possible dangerous situation to travelers,” the company said.

Potholes, damaged bridges, animal carcass, sign damage, avalanches, flooding and rockslides are some of the hazards that can be reported.

In Lower Mainland, hazards can be reported at 604 271 0337.
