District of West Vancouver has scheduled a public hearing next week for a 201-unit, six-storey rental apartment building proposed near Park Royal.
The public hearing will be held on March 6 at 7 pm for redevelopment at 671, 685, 693 Clyde Avenue and 694 Duchess Avenue. The development is located just north of Park Royal Shopping Centre.
The developer, Park Royal Shopping Centre Holdings Ltd., has submitted an application for residential rental studio units that includes 201 residential studio apartment rentals, 50 parking stalls, and 303 bicycle storage spaces. It will be a six-storey residential building with landscaped rooftop amenity.
Access to an underground parkade is proposed on the east side of the site from Clyde Avenue. Council considered the proposal at a council meeting on November 21 but deferred it until January 23 to allow for more public engagement. The consultation was done in-person and online, and a public consultation update was provided to Council.
