Vancouver’s North Shore Tourism Association (VNSTA) has announced that Vancouver’s North Shore Craft Beer Week is returning to the Shipyards District from November 2 to 14, 2023.

Craft beer lovers are invited to join North Shore brewmasters for the kick-off Launch Party on November 2 from 5-10 pm at The Pipe Shop in the Shipyards District. Guests are invited to bring their friends to sample the region’s finest craft beers and drinks and enjoy a festive evening of live entertainment, giveaways and games. Tickets can be pre-purchased for $38 +GST with partial proceeds in aid of North Shore Rescue.

Vancouver’s North Shore is home to Canada’s first microbrewery that opened in Horseshoe Bay in 1982. Today, the craft beer legacy still lives on in the region. This year’s Craft Beer Week will host a series of special events at 10 North Shore Breweries, 1 Distillery and 1 Cidery, featuring music, limited edition beers and drinks, food pop-ups, games, giveaways, and more.

“VNSTA and our community partners are excited to welcome locals and visitors to our annual VNSCBW kick off event at The Pipe Shop in The Shipyards on November 2nd, 2023,” said Jennifer Belak, Executive Director, Vancouver’s North Shore. “This is a unique and special event, and we look forward to gathering and celebrating with the community and local businesses.”

From now until January 31, visitors and locals can also take advantage of exclusive Sip and Stay Packages, in partnership with the BC Ale Trail. Any guest who books a stay at the North Vancouver Hotel, Econo Lodge & Suites, The Pinnacle Hotel at the Pier, or Seaside Hotel Vancouver, will receive a $25 brewery voucher valid at participating breweries and two souvenir beer glasses. Offer is valid for stays until January 31, 2024.

VNSTA has also partnered with the BC Ale Trail for the annual Vancouver’s North Shore Tasting Passport. From November 2 to 30, visit participating breweries and fill in the passport by collecting beer stamps. Collect six and be entered to win a Grand Prize Package. Passports are available for free at participating breweries, any of the hotels listed above, or the North Vancouver Visitor Center. Vancouver’s North Shore Craft Beer Week runs from November 2 to 14, 2023, with support from community partners.
