Six Seabus sailings will be cancelled tomorrow, Tuesday November 12, as part of the job action impact.
The 4:10pm, 7:32pm, and 8:47pm sailings from Lonsdale Quay will be cancelled
The 4:25pm, 7:46pm and 9:01 pm sailings from Waterfront will be cancelled.
As many as 14 Seabus sailings were Remembrance Day, and last week the job action extended to the bus service as well, with 25 busy routes reduced or cancelled. The majority were ‘high-frequency routes’.
“Coast Mountain Bus Company is making every effort to ensure reliable service, but the union’s job action will continue to have impacts on the system,” said TransLink in a statement.
The union is demanding better wages and benefits for its workers.
