North Vancouver RCMP have arrested three suspects believed to be responsible for a string of knifepoint robberies that were subject of a public alert last week.
The investigation into the eight robberies, which had been ongoing since April 3, was led by a team of serious crimes investigators with support from front-line patrol officers.
“Last week we had two goals: to warn the community, and to ask for help. You came through, and we want to say thank you,” said DeVries.
“North Van is a great community that way. We stick together and help each other out. And that makes all of us safer.”
Although arrests have been made, the investigation continues, which means police will not be releasing any more information at this time.
