Travel advisory is in effect between Horseshoe Bay Ferry Terminal and Cassiar Tunnel for 25.9 km, from Vancouver to West Vancouver. Expect extreme water pooling due to heavy rainfall, melting snow, and ice-clogged drains. Travelers are advised to reduce speed and use caution.
Meanwhile, rainfall warning has been issued for Metro Vancouver with rainfall accumulations of 25 to 50 mm, except 60 to 90 mm near the North Shore Mountains. There is a threat of slippery surfaces before the ice and snow melt completely, and ice falling from infrastructure and trees may give rise to injuries and damages.
