A travel advisory is in place for Highway 1 for those planning to travel between West Vancouver and Vancouver. An advisory is also in place for the Sea to Sky Highway.
A special weather statement is in place and heavy snow will continue into Sunday. Travelers should expect rapidly deteriorating conditions, consider changing travel plans, and be prepared for closures on short notice.
Travel is not recommended unless absolutely necessary. Meanwhile, the Sea to Sky highway is closed south of Function Junction due to vehicle incident, and assessment in progress.
