Vancouver Police are warning the public and asking for their help to find 38-year-old Kirstjon Olson, a provincial sex offender.

Olson cut off his electronic monitoring bracelet and left his residence contrary to his release conditions, police said.

Olson is considered a high-risk sex offender.

He is currently under 27 court-ordered conditions which include complying with electronic monitoring and curfew.

He is also wanted for breach of recognizance for not abiding by those conditions.

Olson is Indigenous, 5’8″ tall, and 245 pounds.

He has brown hair, brown eyes, and light complexion.

Olson left his residence in the Downtown Eastside, shortly after midnight wearing all black clothing with a black hat carrying a back pack which had red straps.

Anyone who sees Kirstjon Olson, or knows his whereabouts, is asked to call 9-1-1 immediately, or Vancouver Police detectives at 604-717-0603.
