Vaccination proof required for recreational activities in North Van

Staff report
September 12, 2021 10:12am

Starting Monday, September 13, those attending North Vancouver Recreational Facilities will be required to show proof of vaccination.

The activities where proof of vaccination is required are:

Fitness centre (13yrs+)

Adult fitness classes and programs (19yrs+)

Adult sports programs (19yrs+)

Adult dance programs (19yrs+)

Any indoor activities or rentals with over 50 participants, such as events, competitions, games or practices. However, there will be an exception for children and youth programs and activities under the age of 22 years.

For all these activities, customers must have at least one dose of a COVID-19 vaccine on Sept.13, and must be fully vaccinated to enter an NVRC facility by October 24.

NVRC says staff will not make exceptions and are not able to admit any customers who do not provide the required proof of vaccination for the required activities.

If you have any questions, the NVRC call centre can be reached at 604-987-7529.
