Vancouver Police are investigating after two women were found dead in English Bay on Sunday.
Officers responded at 1:30 p.m. today following the discovery of a woman’s body on the shoreline near the Kitsilano Yacht Club. The cause of her death has not been determined, and it is not yet known whether her death is the result of a crime.
Investigators are working to determine whether this death is connected to the discovery of another woman, who was found around 10 a.m. Sunday morning at Sunset Beach. The cause of her death has also not been determined. Neither woman has been identified.
Investigators from VPD’s Major Crime Section and Forensic Identification Unit, along with uniformed patrol officers, are working in the area to collect evidence.
