Vancouver Police are investigating the city’s eighth homicide of 2019 after a woman was discovered dead in her Strathcona apartment on Wednesday.
Maggie Nelson, 60, was found in her apartment on October 16 by a maintenance worker in the building, located near Keefer Street and Gore Avenue.
The death appeared suspicious and investigators ruled it a homicide.
No arrests have been made. VPD investigators, however, do not believe there is a risk to the general public.
