I was assaulted at almost the same spot in June of 2019. The man seems to live in the area. I stopped to look at my cell phone while walking on the sidewalk and the next thing I remember I was coming to, looking at some lunatic on top of me trying to choke me. The police did nothing to help!! And no one came forward with video footage, because no one told them to. 12 o’clock noon, on a weekday and no one saw anything? And the police, they did nothing. I literally left some of my scalp on a building, I cracked my teeth on the wall I was tackled into. I later identified him, his name is Andrew Krizmanits and he’s wanted but, I doubt anyone will do anything to stop him. I’ve heard of tackle-assault afterwards, on Skytrain, even in North Vancouver, all with the same cowardly M.O.: tackle-assault the victim while they are distracted, chock them and take their cell phones and money. I won’t go to the medical building on that street anymore.

And for those from out of town, Welcome to Vancouver!
