Staff report
March 22, 2021 8:53am

The City will be flushing water mains in Zone 3 of CNV from Monday March 22 to Thursday April 1, from 8:30 am to 4:30 pm daily.

Water main flushing is part of a maintenance program to provide dependable water service and improve water quality.

Residents in the designated flushing area, as well as surrounding streets, may experience cloudy water or low water pressure.

This, however, does not pose a health hazard.

It is recommended that residents in the affected areas refrigerate drinking water ahead of time, and refrain from washing clothes during work hours and until the cloudiness disappears.

Water clarity should return to normal within four to six hours after the completion of flushing each day.

During the water main flushing, the City will monitor water quality by taking water samples throughout the area.

If you have any questions, please contact Tom Van Nes at 604-987-7155.
