An award-winning heritage home in Dundarave in West Vancouver is available to be relocated as the current owners plan to develop their property.
The home at 2367 Marine Drive is 95 years old, the “epitome of timeless beauty, yet with contemporary comfort of thermal windows custom designed to her original character,” according to Nickel Bros, who are offering to relocate the home for $144,300.

North Shore Heritage Preservation Society said it would prefer the home remains in place, but also supports relocating it in order to preserve the house for others to see and for environmental reasons.
Since the home is 30’8″ side with an 18″ overhang on all sides, and a length of 42′, it would be too long to work as a coach house.
It might, however, be a potential home for those who have a lot outside the city.
The heritage society said the relocation price is something Nickel Bros came up with as an average price, assuming it would be barged out of Ambleside.
The price will be adjusted depending where it goes.
Here is how Nickle Bros describe the home:
“A large veranda, reminiscent of high teas and biscuits, invites you into a warm living room with oak floors and bright windows on two sides. Broad white door, ceiling and floor moldings tie together her theme of dark and light which flows throughout. Ivory kitchen cabinets, designed for continuity, match with the fridge and freezer doors. A stainless-steel gas range is included with the home.
The description continues: “A five-by-nine central hall-room connects the living, dining, bed, and bathroom doors. The bathroom boasts a rose cast iron clawfoot tub with slanted back. The solid wood staircase, newels and balusters lead to two dormer bedrooms and a large library-type central chamber.”
