The District of West Vancouver says participants in a program located at the West Vancouver Ice Arena testes positive on Monday, February 8.
The centre is located at 786, 22nd Street in West Vancouver.
Vancouver Coastal Health will follow up with the individuals and anyone who has been in close contact.
The Ice Arena, however, remains open.
The district said it has health protocols in place that include sanitizing program spaces at district facilities regularly throughout the day.
Out of an abundance of caution, certain areas will undergo an additional enhanced cleaning overnight at the centre.
“We know that British Columbia is still in the pandemic and we are taking all appropriate precautions,” District said.
District is encouraging community members to take steps to stay safe and healthy and do their part to reduce transmission.
