West Van lotto ticket wins $10.2 million jackpot

Staff report
October 21, 2021 10:59am

A lottery player who purchased a ticket in West Vancouver is in for a life-changing surprise, after winning the $10.2-million jackpot in the Lotto 6/49 draw on October 20, 2021.

The winning jackpot numbers were: 6, 9, 34, 35, 48, and 49.

The odds of winning a Lotto 6/49 jackpot are 1 in 13,983,816.

Another ticket from last night’s Lotto 6/49 draw, purchased on PlayNow.com, is also picking up some Extra cash, after matching all four Extra numbers to win the $500,000 prize.

Last night’s Lotto 6/49 win is the second jackpot won by a B.C. player this month.

Prince Rupert’s Juanita Parnell collected her cheque for $5.8-million yesterday from the October 6, 2021 draw.

All lottery prize winners have 52 weeks from the draw date printed on their ticket to come forward to claim their prize.

The specific retail location where the winning lottery ticket was purchased, and the lottery winners’ name) will be announced after the winner has come forward to claim their prize.
