The West Vancouver Police are requesting the public’s assistance in locating a missing 27-year-old woman. On Feb 16, Tamira Hansen traveled to the Lower Mainland from Calgary and was last seen boarding a bus to Vancouver in Horseshoe Bay at approximately 9 am on February 20.
Hanson is a vulnerable person and may be staying on the street or in shelters. It is out of character for Ms. Hansen to be out of contact for this length of time. Hansen is described as an Indigenous female, 5’7”, thin build with black hair and brown eyes. She was last seen wearing a black winter jacket with a beige hoody underneath and beige sweatpants.
The West Vancouver Police are asking anyone with information to contact Police immediately. If you have any information on her whereabouts, please contact the West Vancouver Police at 604-925-7300. If you wish to remain anonymous, call Crime Stoppers at 1-800-222-8477 (TIPS).
