West Vancouver swimming pool to reopen on Sundays

Staff report
June 29, 2022 11:48am

Beginning Sunday, July 10, the West Vancouver Aquatic Centre pools will re-open on Sundays.

The West Vancouver Aquatic Centre pools will be open seven days a week during the following hours, effective Monday, July 4:

Monday to Thursday: 6 a.m. to 9 p.m.

Friday: 6 a.m. to 8 p.m.

Saturday & Sunday: 8 a.m. to 4 p.m.

While staff shortages had previously prevented the District from re-opening the pools on Sundays, the recent hiring of additional staff will now make it possible to welcome the community back on Sundays.

Pre-registration is required for most programs and activities, drop-ins are only permitted for fitness centre workouts, public swimming, and public skating.
