10 to 12 hour power outages planned in parts of North Vancouver

BC Hydro is planning power outages that would last for anywhere from ten to 12 hours in some parts of North Vancouver.

Panned work being done on equipment and pole replacement are the reason for the upcoming outages, according to BC Hydro.

On January 16, power will be out for 12 hours, from 9 am to 9 pm in the following area.

3508 Mount Seymour Pkw; 1188, 1200, 1281, 1283, and 1300 Parkgate Ave

1-16 – 3508 Mount Seymour Parkway; 1188, 1200, 1281, 1283, and 1300 Parkgate Ave, North Vancouver

On January 16, another 10-hour power outage is planned from 9 am to 7 pm for these addresses.

931 Broadview Dr, 800, 808, 908, 916, 924, 928, 931 Lytton St.

On January 13, power will be out for 10 hours, from 9 am to 7 pm in Lynn Valley areas:

1883, 1896 Draycott Rd, 3031,3036,3044,3050,3137,3165,3183,3186,3191,3204,3207, 3210,3215 Duval Rd, 3140 to 3280 Robinson Rd, 1940,1950 Westover Rd., North Vancouver

On Janaury 13, power will be out for six and a half hours, from 9:30 to 4 pm in the following areas.

4122-4197 Virginia Cres, North Vancouver

1314, 1325-26, 1337-38, 1349-50, 1361-62, 1373-74, 1385-86, 1398 E 15th St; 1471 Appin Rd; 1480 Mountain Hwy

On Janaury 12, power will be out from 9:30 to 4 pm in the areas below in the City of North Vancouver.

123, 141, and 160 W 27th St; 2652 Chesterfield Ave; 2705 Lonsdale Ave; 2715 E Western Ave; Traffic Signals-W 27th St and Lonsdale Ave

On January 7, a nine-hour power outage will take place from 9 am to 6 pm in the area below.

1075, 1077, 1079, 1083, 1089, 1093, 1099 Marine Dr.

On January 19, power will be out from 10 am to 3 pm at the following locations:

930 (Apt. 101-205); 998 (Apt. 101-230) Harbourside Dr; North Vancouver

    These addresses no longer exist, they were the the old Seymour Estates: 800, 808, 908, 916, 924, 928, 931 Lytton St.

    These outages do not affect me but my first thought when reading this is home security. When specific addresses are posted they become very vulnerable.
