COVID-19 cases on North Shore are declining.
The latest weekly update shows North Shore added 30 new cases from November 21 to 27. As many as 20 cases are from North Vancouver, while 10 were reported from West Vancouver.
There were 64 cases in the week before that and 40 cases on the North Shore in the week prior.
Beginning on November 29, all children ages 5 to 11 are eligible to receive a COVID-19 pediatric vaccine.
B.C. parents and guardians are encouraged to register their children to get vaccinated at www.getvaccinated.gov.bc.ca, and book their appointment as soon as they are invited.
A limited supply of the single-dose Janssen (Johnson & Johnson) vaccine is also expected to arrive soon. This single-dose vaccine that will be available to priority groups including health care workers.
