Families and children in the City of North Vancouver have a new destination for affordable, quality clothing, toys, and baby gear with the grand opening of Young’n Thrifty, a vibrant new Children’s Consignment Store.

Located at 928 16th Street West, just north of the Capilano Mall, Young’n Thrifty will officially open its doors to the public on May 30th, 2024, at 1:30 pm. Mayor Linda Buchanan, will attend the grand opening ceremony and officiate a ribbon-cutting ceremony.

Young’n Thrifty offers a wide selection of gently used clothing, toys, maternity wear, baby gear, and more. With a focus on affordability and sustainability, the store allows families to shop for high-quality items at reasonable prices. Consignors who contribute to the store receive 40% of sales, making it a mutually beneficial partnership.

In addition to the grand opening ceremony on May 30th, Young’n Thrifty will host a community-wide celebration on Saturday, June 1st, featuring raffle prizes generously donated by local businesses, exclusive store discounts, complimentary refreshments, and fun activities including cotton candy for the kids.

“We are thrilled to bring a new option for families in the City of North Vancouver,” says Courtney Ganesh, owner of Young’n Thrifty. “Our mission is to provide a welcoming space where families can find affordable, quality items for their children while also promoting sustainability through consignment. We are excited to become a part of the vibrant North Vancouver community.”
