Drivers in North Vancouver residents can expect delays starting today as construction crews close portions of the Ridgewood Drive and Capilano Road intersection.
The District of North Vancouver has issued a traffic advisory as part of the ongoing Capilano Road water main replacement project. Work began this morning, Wednesday, April 22, and is expected to last approximately five days, subject to project conditions.

Under the advisory, northbound and southbound traffic on Capilano Road will be reduced to single-lane alternating flow at the Ridgewood Drive intersection. Eastbound and westbound through traffic on Ridgewood Drive will be fully closed, with detours routed via Paisley Road and Edgemont Boulevard for those needing to access Capilano Road.
Further restrictions take effect this Friday, April 24, when southbound traffic will be detoured along Capilano Crescent. Construction crews will be on site weekdays from 7 a.m. to 7 p.m. The District is advising residents to anticipate delays and plan their trips accordingly.
