Alleged thief found passed-out in car stolen from North Vancouver

Police in Squamish have arrested an alleged thief who was found passed out in car stolen from North Vancouver.

On January 28, a Squamish RCMP officer was on routine patrol in the early morning hours when he found a man passed out behind the wheel of a car.

Police later determined the car was stolen car out of North Vancouver.

The officer arrested the man for possession of stolen property and lodged him in detachment cells until he was sober.

He was released from custody and will soon appear in court.
