A six-week soccer festival comes to the City of North Vancouver’s waterfront this week, as The Shipyards becomes the city’s official home to Canada Soccer during the World Cup.
Canada Soccer House, North Vancouver, opens June 11 and runs through July 19, according to the news release, bringing more than 100 live match broadcasts to a large screen at Shipyards Commons. The event is free to attend.

The City of North Vancouver is hosting the festival in partnership with Canada Soccer and Canadian Soccer Media and Entertainment.
Visitors will find food trucks, a beverage garden, entertainment, games, and prizes at the waterfront site throughout the six weeks.
The release outlines three types of event days. On 13 or more select days between June 11 and July 7, the full Uber Eats Canada Soccer House experience will be on offer, including live match broadcasts, athlete meet-and-greets, giveaways, retail pop-ups with official merchandise, sponsor activations, and interactive games.
On remaining match days, fans can watch live broadcasts alongside food trucks and beverage vendors. On tournament rest days, The Shipyards will screen soccer-themed movies. According to the news release, all activities are free.
