Eligible voters in the City of North Vancouver can now apply to vote by mail in the 2026 election, with applications open until Oct. 1.
According to the news release by the city, voters must complete the Mail Ballot Voting application form online through the City’s 2026 election webpage by 11:59 p.m. on Oct. 1. Mail ballot packages containing voting instructions will be mailed to registered electors in late September or early October.
Voters must then complete their ballot and required documents and return the sealed package by mail, courier, or in person at North Vancouver City Hall before 8 p.m. on Oct. 17. It is the elector’s responsibility to ensure the ballot arrives before the deadline, according to the news release.
Voters who prefer to cast their ballots in person can vote at any of the city’s nine voting locations on General Voting Day, Saturday, Oct. 17. Advance voting will also be available at City Hall on Oct. 7, 10, 13, 14, and 15.
