On April 8, 2021, BC announced that when three or more people in a workplace have COVID-19, the workplace will be ordered to close unless it is in the overriding public interest to keep it open.

The closure notice can be served by Environmental Health Officers or WorkSafeBC.

The closure will generally be for 10 days, or as otherwise determined by the Medical Health Officer to prevent further transmission of COVID-19.

This will also allow time to update and approve the worksite COVID-19 safety plan.

Well, the entire development is unwanted by the citizens of West Vancouver, but the mayor and council of West Vancouver don’t care what the citizens of West Vancouver want because the mayor’s viewpoint is compromised thanks to the mayor’s husband’s business and the campaign donations made to her by real estate developers. What just over half the voters elected turned out to be one big lie. They didn’t realize that this mayor is 100% for the development of West Vancouver and into something that will make it unrecognizable with NO benefit whatsoever to existing residents.
