District of North Vancouver Mayor Mike Little is recovering at home after testing positive for COVID-19. In a statement, Little said five members of the household started having symptoms of COVID-19.
Little tested positive on Sunday after taking a rapid antigen test from the Lloyd Ave testing site in North Vancouver.
“I’m following all public health orders and will remain isolated according to the guidelines. Other than a mild fever and cold-like symptoms, I am doing well and resting comfortably at home,” Little said.
Little, who is double vaccinated, said he is on the mend. Councillor Lisa Muri will serve as Acting Mayor in his absence.
