Lynn Canyon Park’s East parking lot will be off-limits to general visitors this Saturday as the space is reserved for a rain barrel pickup event.
According to the advisory posted on the District of North Vancouver website, the East parking lot will be closed to the public on May 30. It will be accessible only to residents collecting prepaid rain barrel orders.

Park visitors will instead be directed to the Lower Seymour Conservation Reserve, the Lillooet-Clearwell Trailhead parking lot, or the main Lynn Canyon parking lot off Peters Road. Signs and traffic control personnel will be on site to guide drivers.
Residents who pre-ordered a rain barrel can collect their orders between 10 a.m. and 4 p.m. at the East parking lot, located at the northern end of Lillooet Road near the Lower Seymour Conservation Area. Participants are asked to bring their order confirmation and arrive during the recommended pickup window emailed to them by the vendor, Enviro World. Staff will be available on-site to assist.
The advisory noted the Rain Barrel Program runs in partnership with the City of North Vancouver and the District of West Vancouver to support water conservation and awareness across the North Shore.
