Vancouver police is reminding all road users to slow down, stay safe and use common sense while driving.
One driver, however, is learning that lesson the hard way. VPD posted a photo of a jeep’s clocked speed at 130 kph on Granville Street this Saturday night.
The vehicle will spend the next seven days in the impound. The driver also received a ticket for excessive speed.

Earlier in the month, VPD officers also clocked a Tesla going at 135 kph on Granville Street bridge. Last month, a Vancouver Police Constable was also struck by a distractive driver last month while working on a Distracted Driving Campaign.
VPD is urging people to drive with care and keep eyes on the road.
